Hi, I'm Nina.
Writing is my favourite form of self-expression. It always has been. But that's not how my career started.
Rewind to 2014 at the University of Bristol. I was studying Zoology (of all things!). I love animals and the natural world, so studying them both felt like the obvious choice back then.
So how did I get here?
My studies taught me how to write for scientific journals, to form and test hypotheses, and approach problems with curiosity. The writing was strict. Think tight word counts, exact referencing, and zero room for waffle. Peer reviews helped me reflect on my work, as well as provide feedback that was actually useful. Academia gave me discipline.
Then I discovered copywriting. It gave me the space to play. Ever since, I've covered content writing, agency work, and large rebrand projects at Cotswold Outdoor Group. I decided to go freelance for the freedom. Freedom to pick the projects, the brands, and to take bigger swings.
Every brand has a story.
Before I write anything, I need to understand yours. That means what you do, who it's for, and what makes you you. If that's already in your brand book, brilliant. If you're still figuring it out, we'll work it out together.
I love collaborating: bouncing ideas, asking the awkward questions, and making sure what we build is what you envisioned.
If you consider yourself a good egg with something real to say, we'll make a great team. Let's get your biggest, wildest ideas down on paper (or a Google Doc, the back of a napkin, whatever works) and make something we're both proud of.
